Rosalie's eyes were originally a light blue, but when she was changed, they modified from blue to an angry red to the now warm, sparkling topaz that all the vegetarian vampires possess. Rose has light blonde wavy hair that goes a couple of inches past her shoulders, thick and durable. She goes to the stylist to get it thinned every now and then to make it more versatile for hair styling. Rosalie is a moderately tall woman, standing at 5 feet 9 inches. Her build is not incredibly skinny, instead, she is a little curvier than most girls at 18 tend to be. They are not noticeable at a first glance, but if one should look hard enough, they're definitely there with the curve of her bosom and the soft curve of her bottom. Shapely thighs thin out into rather skinny calves and dainty little feet. Rosalie's skin is pale and porcelain-like, much like other vampires. Her lips are plump and moderately full, and they're a pale pink color to contrast against her incredibly light skin. Rosalie has long, dark blonde eyelashes along with even slightly darker eyebrows. Her cheekbones are high and her face is diamond shaped, and sitting right in the middle of it is a tiny, slender nose that's a smidgen downturned. She tends to wear more old-fashioned things more than anything else, sticking to more of a classy dressing style than some of the teeny boppers hopping around Forks. Not so ladylike that they're businessy and mid-forties looking, but she wears dresses, skirts, and nice pairs of jeans more than shorts that barely cover her butt and midriff tops. The only time she'll even give that thought the time is in the bedroom. =================================== STRENGTHS: Rosalie is a dignified woman, not giving into any demands that she doesn't want to oblige to. She has a very calm attitude most of the time and is able to control herself vocally, although her frustration or sadness can most of the time be deciphered from her facial expressions and features. Once attached to something or someone, Rosalie is a very loving, caring individual. She will do anything they wish, do anything to protect them as well. Her devotion is something easy to earn and easy to get rid of, should she be betrayed. Rose is loyal and helpful to those she cherishes. She's also a very good mechanic and has several degrees in business, astrophysics, and has also studied various medical fields in order to help Carlisle when she is needed. WEAKNESSES: Rose is pretentious a lot of the time, thinking that she is better than others at some things. She also has a cold personality in general, especially towards Bella, because at one point the girl wanted to be changed. Voluntarily. Rosalie valued her human life more than anything and it offends her to see someone wanting to throw it away for immortality. Rosalie goes weak at the knees for Emmett, she'll do pretty much anything he wants her to do, for she's completely and totally in love with him. She hates seeing others in pain, except for those that have done her serious wrong. Rosalie is vain and self-centered a lot of the time, traits that have carried over from her human life and into her immortal life from so many years of submission from others. TALENTS: Rosalie has a naturally convincing nature, and can convince just about anyone to do just about anything. Her only failure so far has been Bella, which still angers her that she wasn't the one to talk her out of it when she was first contemplating such an early death. Rose is good at getting what she wants done done quickly and efficiently with no trial or error. POWER: N/A =================================== BORNIN: Rochester, New York LIVING IN: Forks, Washington FAMILY: Emmett Cullen (mate), Jasper Hale (brother), Alice Cullen (sister), Edward Cullen (brother), Carlisle Cullen (creator/father), Esme Cullen (mother) HISTORY: Rosalie was born in the midst of the Great Depression. Born beautiful and wealthy, most of the troubles that others had were not something she ever needed to worry about. She was vain and self centered from the beginning of her life, and was used to everyone catering to her every need because she was so beautiful -- she thought that simply beauty would get her by in life, help her to manipulate people into giving her what she wanted. It wasn't long after she became engaged to the banker Royce King that she realized her perfect, ideal life might not be so perfect at all. She'd kidded herself into thinking they would live happily ever after in his big plantation and have beautiful babies like her best friend Vera's baby boy, but that wasn't exactly how things panned out for Rose. Her naivete got her into huge trouble the night she was walking home from Vera's, jealousy-ridden and distraught at how happy she was and why she didn't have the same feelings. After long bouts of thinking on her walk home, Rosalie stumbled upon her husband and his drunken friends. They were quite obviously not in any state to be out in public, which concerned her. She'd never realized he was a heavy drinker before, probably because they never spent any substantial amount of time with one another, but she certainly found out when he began drunkenly bragging about her beauty to his sleazy friends. Ripping her clothes off of her much to her protest, Royce and his friends gang raped her and beat her to almost death, leaving her lying there in the street to perish. Rosalie's immense amount of pain was worsened when a strange man with blonde hair came along and bit into her neck, amplifying everything by thousands of times. Her entire body felt as though it was on fire, and it might've lasted for hours, days, she didn't know. All she knew was that it felt like years. When she awoke, she remembered everything that had happened with Royce and she wanted revenge. Knowing full well her ability to kill swiftly and quietly from what Carlisle had told her, Rose embarked on a murder mission. One by one, she picked off the people that had beaten and raped her, saving Royce for last. She tortured him the worst, trying to reenact something much worse than what he'd done to her to make him see his wrongdoings. Rosalie killed them all successfully without drinking their blood, as she saw it as filth that she never desired to consume. From then on, she did not harm any humans and stuck to drinking animal blood. When Rose found out that Carlisle's original intention on turning her was to make her a mate to his son, Edward, she was both irritated and intrigued. She tried to socialize with him, make him like her like all the others had. It was the first time that simple good looks had not gotten her anywhere with a man, and she was absolutely furious. It wasn't as though she'd wanted to be with him so badly, it was just that she couldn't stand the rejection. Eventually, Rose grew tired of being lonely and wished to have someone for herself. The fates seemed to be working in her favor the day she found Emmett McCarty lying almost dead, mauled by a bear in the mountains. She ran him to Carlisle, begging him, please, to turn him into a vampire for her. Carlisle agreed, and the venom worked wonderfully, producing a newborn vampire. Emmett had a little bit of trouble adjusting to the vegetarian life for awhile, but Rosalie stuck with him the entire time, consoling him wherever he needed her help. In this process, she realized that he was both her soulmate and partner for life. After years together and moving around different places, they eventually had added a few members to their coven. Jasper posed as her twin and Alice as another Cullen. Since their appearances did not change, the Cullens moved from city to city, going to different high schools and colleges in order to fit in with normal societies. It wasn't long until they were settled in Forks, Washington, and the seemingly unaffectionate Edward met Isabella Swan. The two seemed to plunge into a relationship rather quickly, which Rosalie downright protested against. She hated the idea of a human and a vampire together, it might upset the Volturi and in turn get the Olympic Coven into trouble. Rose brought the suggestion of killing the human girl to attention, but that didn't work with all the other members of their family. It was after a series of events in which Bella was endangered severely that the Cullens, including Edward, left Forks for what they thought was for good. The message that Bella was supposedly dead reached Edward, and he went to the Volturi in an attempt to end his immortal life. Bella rushed to his aid, and all were reunited. However, since James had been killed, the vampire Victoria wasn't at all happy. She'd sworn to hunt down Bella and kill her, whatever it took, and the Cullens would protect her, however reluctantly in Rose's case. Somehow, Quileute wolves and the Olympic Coven faced off against an army of newborn vampires along with Victoria and were victorious. The Cullens were seemingly safe again, and there was talk of Bella being changed. Rosalie wasn't having any of that, she when she got Bella alone, she attempted to persuade her out of the decision by telling her own story. That didn't work, unfortunately for Rose, reinforcing her dislike of the human girl. Edward inevitably popped the question and Bella accepted. A wedding was in order. The Cullens worked and worked to plan the big event, and when the day rolled around, Bella left, never to be seen, until now. Rosalie was secretly happy that Bella was still a human, but angry and begrudging for the pain that she'd caused her brother to be in. They're all currently managing to cope with the situation, even though after all the years of silence, the wounds are still open. Bella's return is unbeknownst to the Cullens currently, and it's difficult to say when they WILL know.
