MYNAMEIS: Isabella Marie Swan IAM: Twenty Three BORNON: September 13th SPECIES: human WHAT TYPE: N/A =================================== PLAYEDBY: Kristen Stewart HEIGHT: 120 WEIGHT: 5"5' APPEARANCE: Bella would honestly consider her appearance to be rather average. Everything from her height to weight tends to be fairly normal. She has never thought of herself as a true beauty , as her mother clearly is. Her appearance certainly drew little attention to her when she lived in Phoenix but once she had moved to Forks it seemed several males were somehow charmed by her looks, much to her disbelief. Her hair is dark brown, falling to about two inches below her shoulders on any give occasion. She tends to wear neutral shades of make-up, if any at all. Perhaps her best feature is her dark brown, almost chocolate colored eyes. She tends to wear her hears down, not quite liking the wear a ponytail accentuates her forehead. She has straight eyebrows, a trait inherited from her father, but she has never felt the urge to wax them to add a more feminine curve, much to her mother's annoyance. Clothes wise, Bella can typically be spotted in a plain colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and perhaps the occasional necklace or bracelet. She tends to avoid fashion magazines, so she is never quite on trend. =================================== STRENGTHS: Generous, Compassionate , Mature, Brave WEAKNESSES: Self Conscious, Clumsy, , Horrible liar and actress, Edward, Jacob TALENTS: It seems many vampires abilities simply do not work on Miss Swan. POWER: N/A =================================== BORN IN: Forks, Washington LIVING IN: Forks Washington FAMILY: Charlie Swan Renee Dwyer Phil Dwyer HISTORY: By the time Isabella Marie Swan was born, her parents marriage was already deteriorating, and adding a newborn baby to the mix could only fix the situation for so long. Since her mother simply wasn't happy living in a small town, Renee fled with Bella out of Forks, soon after making the divorce from Charlie official. For Bella's sake, they decided a long, drawn out custody battle wasn't necessary, and instead came to a mutual agreement that she would live with her mother during the typical school year and visit Charlie over the summers. Living with her mother and grandmother for the first six years may have not been the ideal situation, especially since her grandmother had never been particularly fond of children but by soon after her sixth birthday Renee moved them to Phoenix , Arizona. Despite the fact she came from a single parent house hold, Bella flourished in Arizona, doing quite well in school. Her mother insisted upon her taking ballet lessons for years, and she grudgingly agreed but mercifully her mother let her drop them after several years, when it was clear that she was simply not meant to be a ballerina, and never would be. In grade school, Bella kept to a small group of friends, but since she attended a school district right next to Luke Air Force Base, it wasn't uncommon for one her best friends to move away rather unexpectedly. This lead to her eventually becoming less outgoing, and by the time she was in middle school she was perceived as a bit of a loner. She had friends , sure , but they were never super close. They would sit together at lunch, maybe work on group projects in class, but that's were the friendships tended to end, never really reaching the point of hanging out much outside of school. Not that she wasn't well liked, she didn't have any real enemies at that time after all, but she didn't let anyone get close enough to become a true, memorable friend. She was always mature for her age, an acquired trait since her mother seemed to be the opposite. While her mother was messy and a bit scatter-brained, Bella learned to be very organized and detail oriented. Her mother always refers to her as " an old soul" which Bella has to agree with. She always did feel slightly out of place in Arizona, after all. Spending her summers from up until age twelve in Washington was certainly an experience that impacted her life. However, at the time she always viewed the break as rather boring. She loves her father, but since he tended to be at work the majority of the time she was left to her own devices in a state with weather she never liked, to say the least. She hardly made any friends in the area, really only knowing her father's friends Billy's kids. At the age of 14, she realized her mother was becoming lonely, and wondering how her mother would deal when she eventually grew up and left, Bella decided to make it her personal mission to get her mother to find another man, which eventually succeeded. Her mother go married to her step father, a much younger minor league baseball player, who Bella approved off and yet somehow she felt she was in the way once he had moved in. Hence, why she decided to move to Forks once more at the age of 16. The move was definitely the point in her life where her existence became far less average . Upon arriving in Forks and attending the high school for the first time, she finally connected to several other students, specifically Jessica, Angela, and Mike in closer friendships than she had ever had in Arizona. In addition, upon meeting Edward and discovering his secret her life was suddenly irrevocably intertwined with the supernatural. It wasn't long before she has fallen for Edward Cullen and additionally reconnected with her childhood acquaintance Jacob Black, quickly becoming best friends with him as well as growing close to Edward's sister, Alice. The next two years were certainly exciting, adventurous, and dangerous to say the least. Bella drew the attention of a tracker named James , who subsequently began hunting for her, putting both herself and the Cullen's in danger. However, when Edward killed James, she believed the danger was past. After a near accident involving her almost being attacked by Jasper, Edward departed leaving Isabella in a deep depression that only Jacob could finally help her overcome. Due to a series of misunderstandings a few months later, through, Edwards came to believe she had died and headed to Italy to commit suicide at the hands of the Volturi. Bella quickly formed a plan of action with Alice, and they were able to save him. Upon returning to Forks, Edward and Bella resumed their romantic relationship. However, it seemed any form of normalcy just was not possible for them, as soon after James' mate Victoria set up on army of newborns to seek revenge. In the end, the pack and the Cullens were able to win against her army and soon thereafter her and Edward began to plan their wedding. Her planned wedding day did not go off without a hitch however. For some inexplicable reason, as she was walking down the aisle the moment her eyes made contact with Edward she could no longer move forward. She couldn't go through with it, rather it be because she couldn't lose her humanity or because she had stronger feelings for Jacob than she could admit too is something she still hasn't quite figured out to this day. Whatever it was, it that caused her to apologize before sprinting back down the aisle and driving to the airport. From there she flew to Seattle and eventually returned to what should have been a normal life. She attended the University of Washington, eventually getting a degree in journalism. She landed a job as a free lance reporter, which gave her the oppurtunity to travel the world, from Africa, to Europe, to Asia all in the name of her career. With each passing year, her personality shifted. She became a stronger person, more independent and more out-going than before. It was while she was in Europe that she meet a vampire, Sophia Xavier. The two hit it off, and Sophia was in fact the one that convinced her to move back to Forks, through Bella isn't quite sure how long it's going to last as off yet. =================================== ALIAS: ARI HOWYOUFOUNDUS: Caution OTHERCHARACTERS: None RP SAMPLE: Nervous. That was simply the only word that could describe the way Isabella Marie Swan was feeling at that very moment. She was honestly surprised she was not hyperventilating as she slowly raised her pale fist, and knocked weakly on the door to the Cullen house, the place she had once felt so welcome. She tugged awkwardly on the sleeve of her crimson hoodie as she waited for someone to answer, wondering who it would be and what their reaction to how they would react to her sudden reappearance. She could see it going several ways. Alice could answer the door, and knowing her she would immediately hug Bella then pull away and ask her what she had been thinking and why, prey tell , she was wearing a faded old sweatshirt and jeans. It could also be Rosalie, who would certainly have a cold comment to make and insist that Bella leave the premises. Or it could be Edward, and she honestly could not pin point what his reaction would be. If someone asked her why exactly she was here, on this early November Saturday morning, she wouldn't be able to give them a clear answer. She wasn't sure what had driven her back to Edward Cullen's doorstep, but here she was after weeks of debating the pros and cons and two times driving to this very street for turning around and heading back to her new apartment. However, here she was now. She had to see if the rumors were true, if they really had returned. Gasping and jumping backwards, she proceeded to take a tumble down the stairs as she heard the door creak open. Groaning as her wrist collided with the cement, Bella took a deep breath, waiting for the pain to pass, as it surely would soon. Finally, after taking several deep breaths, she glanced up to meet a certain vampires golden gaze. " Hello," she muttered, not knowing what else to say. " So it's true, you are back." Not surprisingly it began to rain, a soft , gentle downfall that was quite typical of the area. Immediately, Bella darted inside the house and out of the unsavory weather, and instinctive move if anything. She glanced back at the vampire who had greeted her, wondering if it was only a matter of time before she was told to leave. Maybe deep down, she still wanted too. |
