She found the small town to be rather boring. It was amazing really, how so many things...so much supernatural events had taken place here. Personally, she could list off several dozen places she would have much rather have been. A lot of rumors swirled around, but for a while nothing that was really worth her attention. Werewolves. Yawn. Vampires. Yawn. She wasn't here for herself and she could only hope that whatever it was that Nik needed to do. That he got it done quickly and they could move on. He wasn't quite filling her in on what he was up to, and in fact he had made it a habit of just up and leaving. Ditching her, and leaving her to find a way to keep herself entertained. And here? That was actually a bit of a challenge.
Now her recent mission to find something to do, it was different than every other time... For she actually had a plan in mind, one that promised an afternoon of amusment. Being in Mystic Falls, there was only so much for a girl to do. At the moment the Salvatore boarding house was empty. Though in Rebekah's case it was only the younger of the two brothers that she had any real interest in. Of course this new Stefan, the one Nik had turned him into...she wasn't particularly fond of. He could an ass and the way he treated her, it really wasn't his fault, the whole no emotions thing. Deep down part of her did care for him. But she wasn't about to pine after a man who showed no interest. So it was easy enough to keep those feelings to herself.
At the moment she found herself in her'bedroom' she was currently soarting through what she had bought on her most recent shopping trip. The twenty first centurey was growing on her. Upon first waking up, she had been repulsed by how the world had changed. The twenties were much better in her opinion but, the present was a close second. She smiled to herself, plopping down on the bed and reaching out for the closest bag. Inside that particulary one was the dress that she planned on wearing soon. Shopping was fun and all but she wanted to go our, do something a bit more entertaining. Setting the dress aside, so not to have to search for it, she moved on to the next bag. Even that could only hold her focus for so long. Sliding off the bed, it didn't take much time for her to get ready. And once she was, it was out out of her bedroom and then down the hallway.
Her head tilted to the side, looking over the room once.. It wasn't bad, far grander than most of the homes here. It was old fashioned, not so modern; which made her like it that much more.Of course admiring the place wasn't why the blonde vampire had decided to leave her room. A long sigh of content escaped the vampire's lips as she gazed at the warm fire flickering in the dark living room. Rebekah chuckled lightly. The irony... the 'living room'. Sliding her elegant hand across the back of the leather couch, she walked away from it.... Looking up at the gigantic living room, and admired the place. It was beautiful. Very country-ish. Wood accents and warm paintings. Nice. Then her back was turned and she walked over to the front door. Pushing it open, she stepped outside and into the cool night air. The boarding house was the place she left, and her destination? Well twenty minutes later she was standing in front of it. Her steps were light, she barely made a sound against ground as she stepped up to the front of the Mystic Falls bar and grill. It was the popular hangout spot around town, or so she had been told by many of her 'friends' at school. Everyone seemed to love her there, helping her in anyway they could and she wasn't about to complain... Now something surprising Rebekah...it took a lot, but stepping inside the building, it required her to do a double take. Nik had killed them...all of their family, for turning their back on them. But if they were dead...how were they here now. Rebekah herself had consider waking them, but that in itself would be a death with... After a moment, she gained control of her emotions and stepped across the room. Her eyes flickered to her brother, but her attention first went to the woman sitting on the stool to his right. She cleared her throat, getting the girls attention. "You don't mind giving up your seat do you?" To anyone else who happened to hear, her tone was sweet and it sounded like a question. But there really was no option, being compelled...the girl had no choice. Though she agreed with a smile, claiming that she needed to go anyway. Rebekah waited for her to move before easily sliding in the seat. It was then her full attention was upon her brother. "Ezra...what a pleasant surprise." There was a limited amount that could be said in such a heavily populated location...and so she settled with that for now. |
